Sketchbook

For my figure drawing class we went to a place called jungle gardens, and another called the big cat habitat to draw from live animals!! we were expected to capture the gestures of the animals. It was so much fun!! Also quite challenging.

Digital Painting

For this project, we had to design a room for a specific type of character, so that if the viewer were to look at it without knowing who the character, they would be able to guess. My character was the tooth fairy. This was mainly completed in photoshop, and is an analogous color scheme. (2013)

Illustration

This is the process work for my last post. This shows the steps from the beginning observational drawing of the model, the the pushed pose, then my interpretation of the pushed pose made in to a character.

Illustration

This was a project for my Figure II class at Ringling. We had a chance to draw from a live model in class, then for the project, we had to push the pose and gesture of the original drawing. Playing with the drapery and props and body language of the invented character was all part of the project. This was completely done in photoshop.

Character Design

For my traditional animation class, we are working on character designs! my character, Roger, is a high class opossum. This is the final character sheet, displaying Roger from the front, side, back, and three-quarter views, as well as multiple emotions and exploratory silhouettes.
